Responsibilities

The incumbent will perform general duties of order processing coordination with various parties to support daily logistics/distribution operations.

What you will do:

• Operate according to the company’s quality policy and in compliance with customer service standards.
• Meet basic and routine requirements of internal (immediate supervisor) and external (customers and forwarders).
• Communicate and liaise with various external parties pertaining to shipments and orders.
• Update distribution database and network.
• Maintain and file documentation.
• Support operations if there are any urgent orders.

Transport Coordinator Positions

East Transport Coordinator:

• Able to commit to rotational day and night shifts:
  Day shift: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm + half Saturday 8:30 am to 12:30 pm
  Night shift: Monday to Friday, 9:00 pm to 6:00 am + half Saturday 9:00 am to 1:00 pm
• Class 2B driving license is required as the coordinator may need to cover for urgent delivery if needed.
• Comfortable working at 1 Greenwich Drive.

West Transport Coordinator:

• Able to commit to Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 5:00 pm and half Saturday or Sunday, 7:30 am to 12:00 pm.
• Comfortable working primarily at Jurong and sometimes reporting to 1 Greenwich Drive for meetings.

Requirements

• At least 1 to 3 years of working experience, preferably in a transport/freight/haulage environment.
• Good PC and office skills.
• Sensitive to details and accuracy.
• Good communication skills.
