Transport and Customs Specialist - Menzel Bourguiba TCS Plant

Main Missions

1. Receive arriving information from the forwarder or stock control.
2. Verify and collect all shipping documents, ensuring none are missing.
3. Enter all invoices into the in-transit database promptly to prepare customs clearance documents.
4. File all invoices according to their arrival and provide copies to warehouse personnel.
5. Receive invoices from the production planning team or customer contacts.
6. Arrange truck bookings and schedule arrivals.
7. Coordinate with the customs broker for clearance activities.
8. Follow up on export shipments until completion of all activities.
9. Inform the production planning team and 3PL of all shipping details, including truck number and airway bill number.
10. Understand and coordinate import customs clearance activities.
11. Ensure waste separation according to defined procedures, using protective equipment, obeying health & safety rules, reporting incidents, and acting according to emergency plans.

Qualifications

• University Degree
• Strong organizational skills
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of transport and customs regulations
• Previous experience in the automotive industry is necessary
• Proficiency with SAP or similar ERP systems
• Good command of Office tools
• Strong analytical skills
• Fluent in French and English
