Job summary

Mandai Nature seeks a detail‑oriented laboratory support staff member to assist with routine cell culture, molecular biology and sample processing workflows. You will maintain sample traceability, prepare reagents, and support cryopreservation and data entry under supervision.

Ideal candidates have a Biological Sciences background or equivalent hands‑on lab experience, with a strong emphasis on accuracy, safety, and teamwork in a translational biobanking setting.

Qualifications

• Diploma, Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Biological Sciences or related field.
• Hands-on laboratory experience is acceptable without a degree if competency is shown.
• Training in biosafety, chemical safety, or biobank data systems is advantageous.
• Experience in a research or biobank setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with routine laboratory preparation, setup and clean-up per SOPs.
• Record observations, manage samples and inventory, and maintain traceability.
• Ensure safety, compliance and adherence to SOPs in daily work.
• Support team communications, meetings and lab logistics as required.
