Job summary

MYD Pleasant Home Design Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Interior Designer for a full-time role in Singapore, based in the Paya Lebar East Region. You will develop creative design concepts, create drawings and 3D visuals, and present proposals for clients.

You will liaise with clients, contractors and suppliers to ensure projects meet timelines and budgets, while staying current with design trends and maintaining high quality standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture or related field.
• Minimum 2-3 years of professional experience in interior design.
• Proficiency with industry-standard design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite.

Responsibilities

• Develop creative interior design concepts and schemes for residential and commercial projects.
• Conduct client consultations to understand needs, preferences, budgets and timelines.
• Produce detailed design drawings, floor plans, 3D visualisations and presentations for client approval.
• Select materials, finishes, furniture and decor that align with concepts and client requirements.
• Manage project timelines and coordinate with contractors, suppliers and other stakeholders to ensure delivery.
• Liaise with clients throughout design and implementation, providing updates and modifications as needed.
• Stay current with interior design trends, materials and technologies to keep designs innovative.
• Prepare specifications and documentation for project execution and procurement.
• Collaborate with team members on design solutions and contribute to the company’s creative vision.
