Job summary

HSBC’s Transaction Banking - Global Payments Solutions Graduate program in Singapore invites recent graduates to join a 24-month development path starting July 2027. You’ll rotate across core teams, learn payment tools, cards, and liquidity solutions, and work on client-facing materials.

You’ll collaborate across functions, explain complex ideas clearly, and contribute to innovative solutions using AI, APIs, and cloud technologies while learning regulatory requirements and real-time payment

What you’ll do

You’ll be part of a specialist team focused on a specific product area, while gaining exposure across other parts of the business.

• Contribute to internal work: create dashboards, support PowerPoint presentations, and help senior team members with key client-facing materials.
• Support efforts that keep HSBC competitive in global payment trends, like real-time payments and virtual accounts.

What you’ll learn

We’ll support you with all the training and development you need to succeed. Your journey will typically start with our Global Graduate Induction, where you’ll train alongside your graduate peers. The induction provides you with an overview of HSBC, as well as an opportunity to build a global network of graduates and business colleagues, which will prove invaluable as your HSBC career unfolds. Once you’ve completed the Global Graduate Induction, you’ll take part in a global tailored training programme to build both your technical understanding and professional skills, including developing a working knowledge of core financial solutions, including:

• Liquidity and Investment products – tools to optimise balance sheets and forecast cashflow.
• Payments – solutions to move money domestically and globally, including real-time and omnichannel tools.
• Cards – tools to help clients manage and monitor corporate spending.

As part of the application process, you’ll complete a short online assessment so we can tailor the support you receive during the programme.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible, you must:

• Be available to workfull time from July 2027 onwards
• Have obtained, or expect to achieve, a minimum GPA of4.0/5.0or3.2/4.0(or overseas equivalent, as shown on your official university transcript/degree certificate)
• Bea recent graduatewith less than 2 years of full-time job experience, or will you have graduatedby July 2027
