Job description

Core Function

The Training Supervisor will be responsible for the supervision of the Senior Training Offiver, Assistant Senior Training Officers, Training Officers, and Care Aides in the delivery of quality services for adults with disabilities. In so doing, the Training Supervisor will also be involved in the manpower planning to ensure operational readiness and executive on a daily basis.

Core Responsibilities
  1. Ensure efficient deployment of manpower and operations of the centre's programmes and activities for clients.
  2. Liaise and co-ordinate activities and events (internal and external) with the Programmes and Partnerships Department, and the Fundraising and Communications Department.
  3. Work closely with the Training Officers, Case Managers, and Allied Health Professionals to develop and meet each client's Individual Support Plan (ISP) and caregiver's needs.
  4. Review and guide the Training Officers in the administration and documentation of the clients' attendance, progress of their ISP, weekly Task Analysis, half-yearly Caregiver-Staff Meeting (CSM) and submission of Client Assessment Form (CAF) reports.
  5. Provide positive feedback, coach and guide the team in their skills and competency development, and build a cohesive team which aligns to the mission and values of the organization.
  6. Assist in the facilitation and documentation for operations/environment audits (NEA/MSF) as well as fact-finding and incident reporting in a timely manner.
  7. Assist the Centre Manager as and when necessary and any other duties as assigned, including taking classes where necessary.

Core Work Requirements

Education

  • Diploma in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, Special Education or relevant field.
