A leading education provider in Singapore seeks a Training and Development Officer to develop and maintain training programs focused on skills upgrading for instructors. The successful candidate will be instrumental in conducting training sessions, ensuring quality standards are met, and collaborating on curriculum improvements. Applicants should possess a degree or diploma, and relevant training experience, with strong skills in organization, communication, and interpersonal relations.
Key Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Curriculum, Training & Development Senior Manager,
Training and Development
i) Responsible for developing and maintain the training plan for the program
ii) To conduct training programs for skills upgrading of instructors
iii) Conduct trainings including orientation, program training, skills upgrading, On-the-Job training
iv) To conduct on-site checks quality audit with instructors
v) Responsible for setting and maintaining instructions standards and for setting training processes and protocols
Curriculum Improvements
i) Organising current lesson plans and programs with clear outcomes and learning goals
ii) Working in the team to improve lessons and programs
iii) To provide internal training of programs to the customer service and sales team
Management Reporting
i) Submit monthly training reports, feedback, and audit reports on time
ii) Review and/or develop new OJT blueprints with improvements and up-to-date information.
ii) Project Management: Manage ad hoc projects and special assignments as directed by management when required.
Qualifications:
i) Degree/diploma in any discipline
ii) Candidates with relevant experience in training, childcare/student care teaching and supervision, and as trainers will have an advantage.
iii) Candidates with ACTA/ACLP will have an advantage.
iv) Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
v) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
