Job description

We are seeking an accomplished and highly experienced Director of High-Performance Sports Training to lead and oversee the company's sports training and athlete development programs.

The ideal candidate will be a former elite-level athlete with a proven track record of success at major international competitions, combined with strong experience in sports management and high-performance training.

This is a senior leadership position responsible for developing the company’s overall training strategy, managing training operations, and establishing a world-class sports development system.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive high-performance sports training programs and long-term development plans.
• Lead and oversee all aspects of the company’s training programs and sporting activities.
• Establish training objectives, performance standards, training schedules, and evaluation systems.
• Develop and implement athlete development strategies designed to achieve high-level competitive performance.
• Recruit, manage, and coordinate coaches, trainers, sports professionals, and other members of the training team.
• Monitor athlete performance and training progress, and develop strategies for continuous improvement.
• Design and oversee training camps, preparation programs, competitions, and other sports-related activities.
• Establish professional training methodologies and standards in line with international best practices.
• Work closely with senior management to develop the company’s long-term sports strategy.
• Build relationships with international sports organizations, coaches, athletes, and other industry professionals.
• Identify new opportunities and developments in high-performance sports training.
• Ensure that all training activities are professionally managed and effectively executed.
• Former elite-level athlete with a distinguished international competitive career.
• Must have won a medal at the Olympic Games, World Championships, or another major internationally recognized sporting event.
• Proven experience in sports management, athlete development, coaching, training management, or sports administration.
• Strong understanding of high-performance sports training and athlete development.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities.
• Excellent strategic planning, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to develop and implement long-term training strategies and programs.
• Strong professional ethics, discipline, and commitment to excellence.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with Olympic-level, world-class, professional, or national-team athletes.
• Previous experience managing coaches, training teams, sports academies, or sports organizations.
• Experience in international sporting events and high-performance environments.
• A degree or professional qualification in Sports Management, Sports Science, Physical Education, Coaching, or a related field is preferred.
• Established international network within the sports industry will be an advantage.
