Job description

Salt Talent Search is looking for a Teaching Assistant on a contract role. As a TA, you will play a crucial role in helping trainees transition into new careers by providing essential support throughout their learning process.

What Will You Do
  • Assist in hosting online training sessions via Zoom, manage breakout rooms, and facilitate interactive learning activities (polls, games, simulations) using various tools.
  • Communicate session details before, during, and after lessons via chat, email, and other platforms. Address trainee questions and escalate complex content queries to trainers as needed.
  • Lead coaching and tutorial sessions, guiding trainees through content and assignments, and facilitating productive group discussions.
  • Connect individually with trainees to motivate and support those who may be falling behind, ensuring they stay on track.
  • Track attendance and assessment reports to identify at-risk trainees, offering targeted support to enhance their learning experience.
  • Regularly update trainers on trainee progress, session pacing, and content effectiveness, contributing to continuous program improvement.
  • Collaborate with trainers to grade trainee assessments accurately and efficiently.
  • Work with the team to review and enhance existing processes, ensuring a high-quality learning experience for all participants.
What Will You Need
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coach and mentor learners effectively.
  • A disciplined, process-oriented approach with the maturity to represent the client and a willingness to continually reskill.
  • Excellent proficiency in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in using various tech tools such as Zoom, Miro, and Trello, and the ability to quickly learn new digital tools.
  • Competency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Responsible, meticulous, and a self-starter with the ability to manage tasks independently.
  • A strong team player with a sense of ownership in your work
