Qualifications

• Graduates with Nitec or Diploma in engineering.
• Male applicants must have completed National Service.
• Must not have worked in oil & gas or petrochemical industries within the last two years.
• Willing to commit to a 1-year training program.
• Able to work 12-hour rotating shifts in outdoor environment.
• Able to collaborate and communicate clearly within the operations team.
• Safety-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Comply with Life Saving Rules and apply Process Safety Fundamentals.
• Undertakes the competency development program to perform routine tasks under supervision.
• Proactively seek support from experienced team members to learn.
• Perform routine tasks independently after training in the assigned field.
• Understand and apply Lock-Out-Tag-Out (LOTO) and prepare blinding plans for single equipment.

We are looking for you, Trainee Technicians to our Refinery Operations Shift Team in Neste Tuas, Singapore. Selected applicants will undergo a comprehensive classroom and practical training programme for a fixed term contract of 12 months to equip them with the necessary skills and knowledge to become a Trainee Technician in the Neste Singapore refinery. Upon successful completion and passing of the training programme, you will be appointed as a permanent Trainee Technician to perform safe and reliable operation of the refinery.
