Job summary

An educational organization in Singapore is seeking a support teacher to assist the Core Teacher in lesson delivery and supervise primary school children. Responsibilities include ensuring safety during transfers, conducting administrative tasks for workshops, and nurturing children's learning. Previous experience with children is preferred, but not required as training will be provided. The ideal candidate should have a positive attitude and a passion for education.

Responsibilities

• Support Core Teacher in lesson delivery and supervise children.
• Ensure safety during transfers and in the Centre.
• Conduct administrative work for workshops.
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Job description

Roles and Responsibility

Supporting Core Teacher in delivery, presentation of lesson content to children and supervision of primary school children (primary 1 to 6) to ensure completion of daily homework.

Ensure safety and timely transfer of students from school to student centre.

Ensure safety of children at all times in the Centre.

Administrative work (Preparing materials for weekly craft/ school holiday workshops).

Any other ad-hoc duties as delegated by Centre Head/ Senior teacher.

Requirements:

Able to guide primary school subjects including Mother Tongue subject.

Love children and the learning process.

Possess a passion for nurturing children.

Experience in working with children preferred. Those without experience may also apply as on the job training will be provided.
