Job summary

Societe Generale in Singapore is seeking a Trainee Credit Analyst to evaluate client credit risk and prepare analytical credit reports. You will review financial statements, sustainability reports, and perform annual review work with business lines, under supervision.

The role requires graduates in accounting/finance, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with MS Office. This is a fixed-term 12-month contract with full-time responsibilities in a corporate banking context.

Qualifications

• Graduates from Accounting, Business or Finance discipline.
• Solid accounting and credit analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial statements and business risk of clients to evaluate the credit risk and client corporate rating in line with the bank's policies and rating guidelines.
• Analyze clients' sustainability reports to assess the environmental and sustainability risk in line with the bank's policies.
• Prepare credit reports which are analytical and concise, with peer comparisons and financial projections (where required).
• Independently handle annual reviews by due dates by working closely with Business Lines for the renewal requests.
• Assist Senior Credit Analysts and Manager with research, follow-ups, approvals and any other matters.
• Develop dashboards/ trackers for monitoring outstanding issues, participate in adhoc projects.
