Key Responsibilities:
· Assist in preparing and cooking menu items in accordance with recipes and quality standards.
· Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in all food preparation and storage areas.
· Ensure mise en place is prepared and restocked before and after service hours.
· Assist with daily inventory checks and report stock levels.
· Support in receiving, unpacking, and storing deliveries properly.
· Comply with food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
· Report equipment issues or safety hazards promptly.
· Assist with plating, garnishing, and food presentation.
· Perform general cleaning and kitchen maintenance duties.
· Undertake other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Head Chef.
Job Requirements:
· Relevant culinary experience is a bonus; fresh graduates or applicants with no experience are welcome to apply (training provided).
· Interest in Japanese cuisine and a willingness to learn.
· Able to work on weekends, public holidays, and on rotating shifts.
· Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
· Team player with a positive attitude and good work ethics.
· Able to work 6 days a week
