Job description:
Key Responsibilities
There are 2 core job functions for this role, and shortlisted candidates will work on either one on a rotational basis.
DUTY ROOM
- Obtain and disseminate latest flight updates to concerned parties, including aircraft schedules, handling timings, and relevant updates.
- Liaise with airport control and airline representatives regarding orders, servicing status, problems, aircraft on ground, and late arrivals.
- Prepare daily flight summaries for submission to the Finance department.
- Raise documents for uplift of inflight items as requested by airlines, in addition to normal orders.
- Raise Ad Hoc Activities Note (AHAN) for adhoc flight handling activities.
- Control the return of Supply Notes, Service Reports, Customs Forms, and submit these to the Cabin Admin section.
- Cover responsibilities of other officers in the Duty Room as necessary.
- Monitor and communicate weather-related messages to staff and airline operation centers.
- Follow safety and health procedures, report unsafe conditions, behaviors, and incidents.
DEPLOYMENT, VEHICLE CONTROL AND DELIVERY
- Plan and monitor vehicle allocation and driver deployment to ensure timely service.
- Oversee additional or last-minute uplift orders by crew.
- Adjust vehicle assignments in case of service clashes and inform supervisors of any issues.
- Monitor vehicle fleet status and staff rosters per shift.
- Manage vehicle keys and coordinate vehicle maintenance, washing, refueling, and repairs.
- Control vehicle parking to avoid congestion and inform maintenance of breakdowns.
- Follow safety procedures and report unsafe conditions and incidents.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Section Head or Cabin Service Supervisor.
