A leading company in the construction sector seeks a Traffic Management Specialist in Singapore to ensure effective traffic management and zero accidents at construction sites. The role involves planning safety initiatives, developing traffic management plans, and coordinating with various stakeholders. Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years in traffic-related work, relevant certifications, and preferably experience in Changi East projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in construction site traffic-related work.
• Familiarity with traffic diversion approval process in LTA projects.

Responsibilities

• Plan and organize traffic safety related campaign/initiative every 6 months.
• Implement measures in accordance with the approved traffic safety management plan.
• Coordinate with stakeholders for traffic diversion and related civil work design.

Job description

To plan and ensure the implementation of traffic management and achieve zero traffic accident at the Construction site.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan and organize traffic safety related campaign/initiative every 6 months
• Develop project traffic safety management plan in accordance to local requirements and client specifications
• Implement all the measures in accordance to the approved traffic safety management plan on site.
• Coordination with Traffic consultant as well as Construction team/Civil Design Consultant/etc. for Traffic Diversion and Final Road reinstatement plan Development including any traffic related activities (TIA, etc.)
• Carry out Traffic Diversion approval process and coordination with LTA including PSR and safety submission
• Carry out Traffic Diversion related coordination with Authorities/Stakeholders
• Carry out Traffic Diversion Related Civil work design. (Drain Diversion, Retaining Wall) with coordination with Design Consultant, PE, etc.
• Ensure the activities comply with the quality, environment, health & safety requirements

Job Specifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Construction site Traffic related work
• Certified in Basic Traffic Supervisor course
• Preferably registered WSHO with MOM
• Knowledgeable in Traffic diversion plan approval process in LTA Projects, Traffic related coordination process with authorities/stakeholders and underground Structure/Traffic Decking System/Construction Sequences.
• Prior work experience in Changi East projects will be an advantage due to familiarity reasons
