Job summary

A leading construction company in Singapore is seeking a Traffic Safety Officer to manage traffic safety at construction sites. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in construction-related traffic work, be certified in Traffic Supervision, and be familiar with traffic management processes. You'll be responsible for planning safety initiatives, coordinating with authorities, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Construction site Traffic related work.
• Knowledgeable in Underground Structure/Traffic Decking System.
• Experience in Changi East projects is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Plan and organize traffic safety campaigns every 6 months.
• Implement measures according to the traffic safety management plan on site.
• Coordinate with Traffic consultant and construction team for Traffic Diversion plans.

Job description

Traffic Safety Officer

To plan and ensure the implementation of traffic management and achieve zero traffic accident at the Construction site.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan and organize traffic safety related campaign/initiative every 6 months

• Develop project traffic safety management plan in accordance to local requirements and client specifications

• Implement all the measures in accordance to the approved traffic safety management plan on site.

• Coordination with Traffic consultant as well as Construction team/Civil Design Consultant/etc. for Traffic Diversion and Final Road reinstatement plan Development including any traffic related activities (TIA, etc.)

• Carry out Traffic Diversion approval process and coordination with LTA including PSR and safety submission

• Carry out Traffic Diversion related coordination with Authorities/Stakeholders

• Carry out Traffic Diversion Related Civil work design. (Drain Diversion, Retaining Wall) with coordination with Design Consultant, PE, etc.

• Ensure the activities comply with the quality, environment, health & safety requirements

Job Specifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Construction site Traffic related work

• Certified in Basic Traffic Supervisor course

• Preferably registered WSHO with MOM

• Knowledgeable in Traffic diversion plan approval process in LTA Projects, Traffic related coordination process with authorities/stakeholders and underground Structure/Traffic Decking System/Construction Sequences.

• Prior work experience in Changi East projects will be an advantage due to familiarity reasons
