Role Description

We are looking for a Traffic Controller (Night shift) in SH Cogent Logistics Pte Ltd. The Traffic Controller will assign trucking to Prime Mover Drivers to truck containers; ensure timely deliveries, efficient route planning and effective communication with drivers and clients.

Responsibilties

• Manage trucking activities to fulfill customers’ delivery requirement
• Provide real-time updates on job progress in the system
• Monitor truck and delivery status to optimize resources
• Coordinate container trucking consignments with Prime Mover Drivers and customers
• Ensure the accuracy of driver incentives for drivers
• Perform counseling to Prime Mover Drivers when necessary
• Any other duties and responsibilities assigned from time to time

Requirements

• Nitec or equivalent qualifications in logistics, supply chain management, transportation or a related field preferred
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in deployment of drivers for trucking/ loose cargo jobs
• Strong understanding of land transportation regulations, routes, and logistical considerations in Singapore
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with drivers, clients and internal stakeholders
• Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Monday to Friday: 8.00pm to 5.30am, Saturday: 8.00pm to 12.00am
