Traffic Controller (East | Up to $2900)

We are seeking 2 positions - Traffic Controller with 2 Working Shift:

Shift 1 (Normal Shift): Monday to Friday 7.30am to 7.30pm, Saturday 7.30am to 12.30pm

Shift 2 (Midnight Shift): Monday to Friday 12am to 8am, Saturday 12am to 4am

Duties / Scope of Work

1. Take charge of drivers and delivery assistants
2. Provide feedback on any safety violations or discipline by drivers to the Operation Manager
3. Adhere to and inculcate safety requirements at all times
4. Plan, schedule, organize, and assign jobs daily
5. Maintain constant communication with drivers to ensure jobs are completed
6. Liaise and coordinate with customers on any job-related issues
7. Report any cargo damage and traffic accidents to the Operation Manager
8. Assist the Operation Manager in investigating incidents/accidents promptly
9. Send all finding reports (e.g., Incident Report / CAPA) to the Operation Manager / Senior Manager upon request
10. Proactively request time extensions from customers for export collections if required
11. Effectively plan and utilize appropriate vehicles and equipment
12. Ensure all company assets and equipment are well maintained
13. Plan and schedule vehicles for servicing and inspection
14. Escalate and report any cargo discrepancies to the immediate superior
15. Report any delivery abnormalities and discrepancies to the immediate superior
16. Monitor all deliveries and collections closely
17. Attend to customer phone calls after office hours
18. Follow up on drivers’ feedback and seek Operation Manager's advice if needed
19. Assist the Operation Manager in monitoring the maintenance schedule of the department’s vehicles and arrange accordingly
20. Help the Operation Manager in responding to daily customer operational queries and requests
21. Perform any other tasks assigned by the Superior

Qualifications & Requirements

1. Minimum secondary school education
2. Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar field
3. Good communication skills
4. Able to read and write in English
5. Ability to handle stress in a fast-paced environment
6. Willingness to travel to Changi Airline Road for work
7. Willingness to work the midnight shift from 12am to 8am
8. 5.5 days work week & overtime applicable
