Job Responsibilities

Take charge of drivers and delivery assistants

To feedback on any safety violations or discipline by drivers to the Operation Manager

To adhere and inculcate safety requirements always

Plan, schedule, organize and assign jobs daily

Constant communications with drivers to ensure given jobs is completed

Liaise and co-ordinate with Customer on any problem pertaining to the job

To report any cargo damage and traffic accident to Operation Manager

Assist the Operation Manager to investigate incidents/accidents promptly

Send all finding reports i.e. Incident Report / CAPA to Operation Manager / Senior Manager upon request

To take early initiative to ask customer for time extension for export collections if requires

To effectively plan and use appropriate vehicle and equipment

To check all company asset and equipment are in good hands

To plan and schedule vehicle for servicing and inspection

Escalate and report any cargo discrepancy to immediate superior

Report any delivery abnormality & discrepancy to immediate superior

Constant and close monitoring of all deliveries and collections

Others related to department’s import/export operations matters

Attend to customer’s phone calls after office hours

Follow up on drivers feedback and seek Operation Manager advice if needed

Assist the Operation Manager to monitor the maintenance schedule of the department’s vehicles and arrange accordingly

Assist the Operation Manager in replying to daily customer operational queries and requests

To perform any other tasks assigned by Operation Manager and Senior Manager

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum secondary school
