A leading financial services firm in Singapore is looking for a Trading & Execution Application Support professional. The candidate will provide application support, manage client inquiries, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Ideal candidates should have 3-6 years of experience in the financial sector, strong troubleshooting abilities, and excellent communication skills. The Trading & Execution Application Support role is a member of the GMAS Asia team under Trading Application Support within Global Products & Solutions. The role holder shall endeavour to fulfil the ambitions defined and outlined for the team by Head GMAS Asia. He/she shall ensure active risk management and meet all regulatory and internal compliance expectations relating to the role.
The role involves the end-to-end maintenance, enhancement and development of various global and regional systems/applications to improve user experiences. He/she shall provide first level support for all the applications under management. The incumbent shall also build highly effective relationships across the Bank to maintain and improve knowledge of the business and its latest products and services to optimise service to clients. The Trading & Execution Application Support role reports to Head GMAS Asia.
KEY FEATURES OF THE POSITION
People Management

Client Management (internal & external)
· Effective and progressive management of all stakeholders and users of applications supported by the team
· Provide first level support for all the responsible applications
· Escalate and track issues raised with the development team with regular updates to users
· In conjunction with key stakeholders develop effective incident management processes and workflows
· Propose bug fixes and enhancements to improve quality of application and user experience
· Participate and take ownership where appropriate of all testing requirements relating to change that impact applications under management
· Support management with any regulatory and management reports
Business Management
· Work to fulfil the ambitions of the team defined by Head Global Markets Application Support
· Develop, deploy and maintain governance on processes and applications (i.e. user manuals, procedural guidelines, etc.)
Compliance & Risk Management
· Meet all legal, regulatory and compliance standards/requirements
· Regular assessment of the function’s practices to mitigate associated risks arising out of and relating to the said function
· Demonstration of appropriate values and behaviours including but not limited to standards on honesty and integrity, due care and diligence, fair dealing (treating customers fairly), management of conflicts of interest, competence and continuous development, adequate risk management, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations

Professional and Technical
· Relevant higher educational and professional background with at least 3 – 6 years of relevant working experience preferably in the financial industry
· Solid experience of providing global support across locations and various types of users
· Experience with testing applications as part of a release management process within an Agile framework
· Excellent understanding of financial products and order management flows
· Good understanding of development life cycles such as Agile Methodology
· Good understanding of database design with confidence to write scripts and complex sql queries
· Experience of technology stack used in a typical client server architecture, e.g Java, JavaEE, and web (HTML, JavaScript, CSS, etc)
· Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to articulate clearly and effectively
