Job summary

Randstad Singapore is seeking an experienced software professional to design, build, and optimize high-performance trading software and execution algorithms for automated trading. You will own end-to-end delivery from requirements gathering to live releases.

You will collaborate with front-office traders, implement low-latency networking, and tailor market connectivity for Asian exchanges while applying clean OO design across equities and derivatives.

Qualifications

• 8 to 10 years of hands-on software development experience with C/C++.
• Proven background in algorithmic trading development for equities/derivatives.
• Strong knowledge of network socket programming, multi-threading and concurrency.

• Design, build, and optimize high-performance software and execution algorithms for automated trading.

• Implement robust socket-level networking protocols and manage multi-threaded concurrency challenges.

Skills & Requirements

• 8 to 10 years of strong hands-on software development experience with core C / C++.
• Proven background in algorithmic trading development, specifically within equities and derivatives (Fixed Income & Currencies / Rates is a plus).
• Strong technical grasp of network socket programming, multi-threading, and concurrent computing.
• Prior experience designing and operating low-latency trading infrastructure and market connectivity.
• Familiarity with Windows-based enterprise development environments.
• Solid understanding of Asian electronic market structures and trading dynamics.
