For more information: Centalion.com **Main Responsibilities** * Ensure risk and P&L is accurately reflected in the system and in line with trader expectations. This includes analysis of the key drivers of P&L and reconciliation against trader's estimates* Ensure timely and accurate deal entry of trades* Work closely with traders, quantitative and fundamental analysts to help deliver on other value adding tasks such as follows: + Design, implement, and maintain quantitative models and algorithms to analyse and forecast energy market trends, price movements, and supply-demand dynamics. These models will help the trading desk make informed and profitable trading decisions. + Innovate, identify and deliver on improvements in processes and systems + Integrate alternative data sources (e.g. freight tracking, social media sentiment) into models to enhance decision-making. Ensure data integrity and manage datasets efficiently using Python, times series databases or other tools* Build and maintain dashboards and tools for real-time analytics and monitoring of key market indicators. Gather and analyse large datasets from various sources, both internal and external, and present findings in a clear and concise manner through data visualization tools* Develop and implement trading strategies* Perform other ad-hoc duties assigned by manager **Profile** The individual should have the following:* Minimum Bachelor's degree with a major in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accountancy, Mathematics, Statistics or Computer Science* Fluent in spoken and written English* Strong Excel and Proficiency in Python is a must. Good IT skills (SQL and MongoDB. C++ or C# would be a plus)* Some knowledge of financial markets and financial derivatives* Prior experience maintaining and enhancing algorithmic trading framework* 2-3 years of previous similar work experience in trading/commodities house or financial institutions.
