Job summary

Centalion is seeking a Trading Assistant based in Singapore to support risk and P&L analysis, entry of trades, and collaboration with traders and analysts. The role emphasizes building quantitative models, dashboards, and trading tools using Python and time-series data.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor's degree with a major in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accountancy, Mathematics, Statistics or Computer Science
• Fluent in spoken and written English
• Strong Excel and Proficiency in Python is a must. Good IT skills (SQL and MongoDB. C++ or C# would be a plus)
• Some knowledge of financial markets and financial derivatives
• Prior experience maintaining and enhancing algorithmic trading framework

Responsibilities

• Ensure risk and P&L is accurately reflected in the system and in line with trader expectations
• Ensure timely and accurate deal entry of trades
• Work closely with traders, quantitative and fundamental analysts to help deliver on other value adding tasks such as follows: Design, implement, and maintain quantitative models and algorithms to analyse and forecast energy market trends, price movements, and supply-demand dynamics
• Build and maintain dashboards and tools for real-time analytics and monitoring of key market indicators
• Develop and implement trading strategies
• Perform other ad-hoc duties assigned by manager
