A respected company in the trading industry is seeking a motivated professional for developing and maintaining their non-ferrous and chemical trading business at a global scale. The role involves managing sales and purchasing portfolios, client relations, and requires a strong understanding of the commodity trading market. Ideal candidates will possess a relevant degree, experience in sales, and be willing to travel frequently.

Qualifications

• Experience in commodity trading is an advantage.

Job description

Responsibilities

➢ Responsible for developing and maintaining of non-ferrous & chemical trading business in global scale (both purchasing and sales) of products and scrap materials.

➢ Use market intelligence to identify new suppliers / customers in the region and develop new account, by representing the company at conferences, trade shows etc.

➢ Manages own / team’s purchasing and selling portfolio, liaise with logistic / operations, and risk management teams to ensure smooth, profitable operations.

➢ Establish and nurture client relationship.

Requirements

➢ Possess university degree or diploma in any field.

➢ Experience as sales in commodity trading / Non-ferrous business will be added advantage.

➢ Knowledge in shipping and trade payment modes is preferred.

➢ Possess a valid driving license

➢ Willing to travel frequently to meet/visit customers and suppliers at short notice.
