Job summary

Enerfo Group in Singapore is seeking a Trader to support growth in its agricultural commodities trading business. You will own trade initiation, execution, and logistics coordination, while monitoring positions within risk parameters and delivering insights.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field, and at least 5 years’ experience including commodities trading knowledge. You will report on performance and collaborate across teams.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in trading, financial analysis, or a related role with at least 2 years in commodities trading.
• Knowledge of commodity markets and cycles and financial markets and instruments.

We are looking for a Trader to join our team and support the execution and growth of our agricultural commodities trading business.

Role Description

• Strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of market trends, and the ability to make quick, informed decisions in a high-pressure environment
• Demonstrates strong risk management by monitoring and managing trading positions within risk parameters and mitigating potential losses
• Own trade initiation, execution, logistics coordination, and drive business growth
• Deliver accurate trade reporting, performance insights, and regular leadership updates
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field
• 5 years of experience in trading, financial analysis, or a related role with at least 2 years in commodities trading
• Possess commodity market knowledge – understanding of commodity markets and key growing cycles of agricultural commodities and impact on business cycles
• In-depth understanding of financial markets and trading instruments
• Ability to deal with ambiguity - adapt quickly to changing market conditions; can shift gears comfortably, handle risk at ease
• Negotiation Skills – able to resolve differences and gain the trust quickly of other parties to the negotiations
• Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of business
