A leading trading company in Singapore is seeking a professional with a Bachelor's degree in Maritime, Supply Chain, or Engineering. The role involves managing trade data, ensuring compliance with sustainability documentation, and coordinating business processes. Ideal candidates should have 1-2 years of experience in the Oil and Gas industry and be proficient in MS Office. Immediate consideration for potential candidates.
THE ROLE
Communicate with internal departments for necessary arrangements in confirmation of price fixing, payment arrangements, inventory management, etc.
Input and reconcile trade data stored in trading system
Record trade data and ensure accuracy of various reports and calculations
Check Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
Conduct Chain of Custody activities such as Mass Balance management, issuance and verification of sustainability documentation – e.g. Sustainability Declarations or Proof of Sustainability
Maintain proper filing of documentation (hard and soft copies).
Support necessary auditing, internal compliance requirements and procedures
Ensure all documentation and communication processes are in compliance with internal procedures & control
Coordinate structuring business process
Any other ad-hoc duties
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s Degree in Maritime Studies, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field
1-2 years working experience in the Oil and Gas industry with general knowledge of trading / risk management / accounting / financing
Meticulous with good flair for numbers and able to multi-task effectively
Good knowledge on international commodity trade (INCOTERMS, trade finance, etc.)
Good knowledge in sustainability and renewable energy obligations
Proficient in MS Office applications
