Job Title: Trade Operations Executive

Working Hours: 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM (Flexibility required)
Monthly Salary Range: SGD $4,000 – $5,000 (Negotiable, based on experience)
Position Overview:We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Trade Operations Executive to manage and support trade documentation, bank liaising, and cross-functional coordination. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of relevant experience, strong communication skills, a problem-solving mindset, and a solid foundation in basic accounting.
Key Responsibilities:- Liaise with banks for issuance and receipt of Letters of Credit (LCs)
- Issue back-to-back LCs and manage associated documentation
- Prepare and present documents under LC in a timely and compliant manner
- Handle KYC documentation for trade counterparts
- Follow up on payments from buyers and ensure timely collections
- Coordinate with internal departments (Shipping, Finance, Accounting) and external partners
- Monitor bank limit utilization and track due dates
- Prepare and maintain MIS reports: trade transactions, trade P&L, and cash flow tracking
- Compile and submit bid documents for international tenders
- Coordinate with third-party inspection and survey agencies
- Liaise with buyers and suppliers for contract drafts and final documentation
- Provide administrative and cross-functional operational support as required
- Other ad hoc duties assigned
Preferred Qualifications:- Diploma/Degree in Business Management, Logistics, Finance, Accounting, or related fields
- Professional certifications are a plus
Experience & Skills Required:- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in trade operations or related functions
- Strong multi-tasking ability and excellent communication skills
- Diligent, with a learning-oriented and adaptable mindset
- Operational excellence and attention to detail
- Open to travel and flexible working hours when needed
- Strong relationship management and interpersonal skills
- Basic accounting knowledge (understanding of invoices, reconciliations, financial entries)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Analytical mindset with ability to work independently and as part of a team
Candidate Preference:- Singaporean citizens preferred
- Candidates with an accounting or finance background will have an advantage
