We are looking for a proactive, organized, and commercially savvy Trade Marketing Executive to support our retail team. This role is essential in driving customer business plans, executing trade promotions, and aligning internal stakeholders to maximize commercial performance. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates strong analytical and coordination skills, and has a passion for retail and FMCG.
Key Responsibilities- Support the development and upkeep of the annual and monthly trade marketing calendar and budgets.
- Coordinate with the internal team, principals and customers to plan and execute promotional activities and secure optimal in-store space.
- Act as a liaison across teams to align promotional mechanics, objectives, pricing, and timelines.
- Track sales performance by campaign and channel, comparing actuals to forecasts.
- Support the Demand and Supply cycle by aligning forecasts with trade activity and stock availability.
- Assist the Key Account Manager in the execution of customer business plans and promotional calendars.
- Maintain accurate trade spend records and provide month-end reporting to avoid overspending.
- Compile post-promotion analyses and ROI evaluations to inform future planning.
- Take and circulate meeting minutes, ensuring follow-up on key deliverables and deadlines.
- Assist in preparing demand forecasts and first drafts of trade calendar slides for management review.
- Assist in other ad-hoc duties
Qualifications & Requirements- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in trade marketing, key account support, or sales/commercial coordination, preferably in FMCG or retail.
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint); Power BI experience is a plus.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.
