As a Trade Marketing and Event Assistant Manager, you are to develop and execute trade and event marketing initiatives to drive brand awareness and product sales.
Responsibilities
Develop strategies for maximizing brand visibility, recognition and engagement during trade shows and/or for overall branding
Work with marketing agencies closely to conceptualize, plan, and execute engaging events aligned with the brand's image and goals
Work closely with the sales team to understand market dynamics, customer needs, and channel requirements, to support and execute trade marketing initiatives.
Develop and implement effective public relations launch strategies for new products, services, or initiatives while evaluating the success through post-event analysis
Cultivate media relationships to secure coverage and manage press releases. Build and maintain relationships with journalists, bloggers, and influencers
Craft clear and compelling copy for various mediums, including social media, blog posts, and newsletters
Act as a spokesperson for the brand and facilitate media interviews when necessary. Act swiftly to manage and mitigate potential public relations crises
Develop and implement a robust CRM loyalty program to enhance customer retention and engagement. Analyse customer data to tailor loyalty initiatives for maximum impact
Develop and distribute marketing communication materials, point-of-sale (POS) displays, and promotional materials to enhance product visibility and stimulate consumer interest.
Devise and execute digital marketing campaigns while establishing partnerships to generate leads for hair services & trade events to drive sales
Optimize promotional activities to increase footfall and customer satisfaction
Manage trade marketing budgets effectively, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to maximize ROI on marketing initiatives.
Monitor and analyse the performance of trade marketing campaigns and promotions, using data-driven insights to refine strategies and improve effectiveness.
Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, including partner, vendors and marketing agencies, to foster collaboration and drive business growth.
Handle event logistics, such as venue selection, setup, staffing, and product placement.
Identify and secure sponsorship opportunities to enhance brand visibility.
Oversee events to ensure smooth execution, troubleshoot issues, and ensure brand guidelines are followed.

Requirements
A good degree in marketing, business, or a relevant field
Preferably with at least 5 years of experience in the FMCG or beauty industry
Proven experience in marketing roles, with a strong background in trade and retail marketing, branding, lead generation & CRM
Basic proficiency in spoken and written Chinese required for effective communication with overseas counterparts
Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
Results-oriented, resourceful and able to work independently and with teams in a fast-paced environment
