Job summary

Manpower Staffing Services (Singapore) Pte Ltd is seeking a diligent Trade Compliance Assistant in Singapore to screen trade transactions for potential sanctions involvement and to release alerts when necessary.

You will document all justifications, communicate escalations to the trade processing teams, and perform other operational and administrative functions to support AML controls. Ideal candidates hold a Diploma or Degree with at least 1 year in trade finance and strong interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Banking, Management, Finance, or related discipline.
• At least 1 year of trade finance experience in a banking environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Performance- and quality-driven mindset.

Responsibilities

• Screening trade transactions for potential involvement of sanctioned targets.
• Releasing trade alerts determined to be false hits.
• Communicating escalations to the trade processing teams.
• Documenting justifications showing risks identified and addressed at review.
• Other operational and administrative functions.
