Trade Compliance Officer

Our client in the precision measuring instruments industry is hiring for a trade compliance officer.

Responsibilities:

•Review and assess transactions, classify products based on export control policies, and ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
•Collaborate with HQ to update policies and equipment information in the company's database.
•Manage record-keeping for the Trade Control department and screen end-users before shipment or quotation.
•Provide training on export compliance and customs-related matters and handle any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

•A good understanding of Japanese export/ custom policies
•Min 3 years of experience in either product classifications, customs regulations or Singapore Strategic Goods Control Act
•Min Diploma holder
•A good team player with strong interpersonal skills.
