Job summary

Arcadis Singapore seeks experienced Tool Install Designers (Mechanical, Electrical, Process, Architectural, Structural) to join our advanced technology A&E design team. Candidates will support tool installation projects within the semiconductor industry, working with multi-disciplinary teams of Designers, Engineers, and Project Managers.

This position will be based in Singapore, with travel to project sites as needed and strong proficiency in AutoCAD is required, with Revit in high demand.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in the AEC industry with a proven track record designing semiconductor facilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams and coordinating with project managers.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with lead engineers and designers on large scale industrial facilities.
• Utilize AutoCAD and Revit for design and modelling tasks.
• Understand project lifecycle related to tool installation scope and deliverables.
• Coordinate across multi-disciplined teams to define requirements and deliver drawings.
• Develop layouts in collaboration with project managers and engineers on multiple projects.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.

What are we looking for?

Arcadis has an excellent opportunity for experienced Tool Install Designers (Mechanical, Electrical, Process, Architectural, Structural) to join our growing advanced technology A&E design team in Singapore. Candidates will have direct experience supporting advanced technology tool installation projects within the semiconductor industry, working with multi-disciplinary teams comprised of Designers, Engineers, Project Managers, Coordinators, and field construction personnel. Strong proficiency in AutoCAD is required, and Revit is strongly preferred.

This position will support our APAC Regional and Global Semiconductor projects based out of our Singapore office and travel to or station at our client project site on need basis.

Job Scope:

• Work directly with lead engineers and designers on large scale industrial facilities.
• Utilize state-of-the-art design and modelling software such as AutoCAD and Revit.
• An understanding of project lifecycle related to tool installation scope and discipline specific deliverables.
• Ability to coordinate and interact effectively across multi-disciplined teams.
• Identifying deliverables, defining requirements, and creating design drawings.
• Develop layouts while working in tandem with project managers and engineers on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• 5+ years’ experience in the AEC industry, with a proven track record of designing semiconductor facilities. Bonus points for tool install specialization.
• Working knowledge of relevant CADD software programs; AutoCAD/BIM/Revit, along with Microsoft Office suite.
• Background in drafting and design (Associate’s degree minimum preferred).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills (English).
• Team player who can work with a variety of software, projects, and other individuals.
