SEMIKO RECRUITMENT & CONSULTANTS PTE LTD is recruiting for a Tool & Die/Mold Maintenance Technician at a well-established plastics manufacturer in Woodlands, Singapore. The position features a 12-hour day shift with a 3-4-4-3 rotation and a salary range of S$2,800–S$3,500, plus Attendance and Shift Allowances, AWS (13th month), and medical/dental benefits.

Requirements include a technical qualification in Tool & Die Making or Mechanical Engineering and hands-on mold maintenance experience.

Qualifications

• Technical qualification in Tool & Die Making, Precision Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience in plastic injection mold maintenance and repair.
• Ability to read technical drawings and tooling specifications.
• Singapore Citizens and PRs only.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repair and servicing of plastic injection molds and tooling equipment.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and cleaning of molds to ensure optimal production performance.
• Troubleshoot tooling issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Support tooling modifications and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure molds and tools are maintained in good working condition to meet production schedules.
• Assist in root cause analysis for tooling-related issues.
• Maintain proper documentation of maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety and housekeeping standards.
• Support production teams in resolving mold-related problems.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Toolroom Manager or Supervisor.

Working Hours: 7am - 7pm (12 hour permanent day shift)(Rotation Pattern: 3-4-4-3)

• Able to perform mold dismantling, troubleshooting, polishing and assembly.
• Familiar with preventive maintenance procedures.
• Ability to read technical drawings and tooling specifications.
• Strong hands-on troubleshooting skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents only.
