The role requires strong technical skills, at least 3 years of experience in a relevant environment, and the ability to work rotating shifts.   • Able to perform 12 hours Rotating Shift (6:45 to 6:45) and/or 5 days week (6:45am to 4:30pm).

Job Title: Toolroom Technician

Summary

To set up, operate and maintain equipment and machinery in Toolroom Department

To support machining spare parts for tooling, machineries, Jigs and fixtures

Tool servicing and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Genaral Tool and die servicing.
  • Tooling repair and maintenance.
  • Preventive maintenance for Tooling.
  • Set up machinery / equipment for operation according to production schedule
  • Make adjustments to machinery / equipment when necessary to ensure products quality are met within spec’s requirements
  • Maintain safe, orderly and clean work environment in the workplace
  • Perform and provide guidance to all trainee’s and operators on product conversion, equipment set up, equipment adjustments and part of maintenance tasks to meet all standard for safety, quality, and efficiency.
  • Perform routine Preventive Maintenance as per scheduled and ensure related required documentation were sufficiently detailed, correct and updated on time.
  • Maintain an effective communication between shifts.
  • Prepare and update the machine maintenance and safety checklist accordingly
Requirements
  • Higher Nitec / Nitec / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
  • Independent, Self-motivated and efficient problem solver
  • Good technical skills and knowledge (Automation Engineering / Progressive Stamping)
  • 3 years’ experience in related Toolroom environment
  • Able to perform 12 hours Rotating Shift (6:45 to 6:45) and/or 5 days week (6:45am to 4:30pm)
