Job summary

Job description

Responsibilities:


  • Organize and lead reviews for tooling contracts, mold designs, mold trials, and overall project progress.

  • Coordinate closely with designers, manufacturing engineers, and planners to monitor tooling fabrication and ensure 100% on-time delivery.

  • Provide regular project updates, including Gantt charts, to the Business Development (BD) team.

  • Participate in mold testing and optimize molding processes to ensure consistent part quality.

  • Review First Article (FA) reports and recommend dimensional adjustments based on product form, fit, and function as per customer requirements.

  • Lead root cause analysis and problem-solving activities to resolve technical issues effectively.

  • Manage communication with external suppliers for outsourced mold tooling and related matters.

  • Offer technical support to the BD team and provide tooling feasibility feedback to customers.

  • Prepare and submit quotations for engineering change requests.


Requirements:


  • Diploma or NITEC in Precision Machining, Tooling Technology, or a related field.

  • Experience in project management with a strong technical background in tooling.

  • Strong analytical skills with effective communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Capable of evaluating, diagnosing, and resolving technical issues.

  • Proactive team player who can work independently with minimal supervision.
