Job summary

VDL ENABLING TECHNOLOGIES GROUP (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. is seeking a Tooling Engineer for its Singapore facility. The role focuses on supporting CNC machining, fabrication and tooling processes to ensure quality and efficiency.

You will read engineering drawings, manage tooling data, and collaborate across manufacturing teams to drive continuous improvement and maintain tool readiness.

Qualifications

1 year of experience in tooling/manufacturing environments.
Experience with CNC machining and tooling processes is preferred.
Knowledge of engineering drawings and inspection methods is desirable.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot tooling and manufacturing processes to minimize downtime.
Assure quality of produced parts and adherence to specs.
Manage data related to tooling, processes, and output metrics.
Read and interpret engineering drawings and manufacturing plans.
Support fabrication, molding and CNC operations as needed.
Handle inventory for tooling, cutting tools and machines.
Participate in continuous improvement activities.
