Tool Designer

We are located beside Joo Koon MRT Station.

Responsibilities:

1. Read and understand engineering drawings.
2. Design progressive stamping dies using CAD software.
3. Able to work independently with minimum guidance.
4. Collaborate with production and toolroom teams to ensure designs are practical and manufacturable.
5. Create detailed engineering drawings and documentation for die components.
6. Conduct feasibility studies, material selection, and DFM (Design for Manufacturability).
7. Perform root cause analysis and make modifications to existing dies for process improvement.
8. Support the prototyping and try-out stages of new tools.
9. Provide ongoing technical support and assist in troubleshooting design-related issues that may arise during the construction or manufacturing phases.
10. Perform overtime as and when required.
11. Perform any other duties assigned by supervisor and/or management.
