Job description

You will collaborate closely with the director, creative producer, art designer, and graphics designer to understand and discuss the production's vision. Your role will involve reviewing raw material to select the best shots for the final film. You will be responsible for trimming and rearranging footage to enhance the video's quality and flow.Creating a rough draft and seeking feedback from the director will be an essential part of your tasks. Using modern editing techniques and tools, you will manipulate and edit video and film footage. Maintaining continuity between shots and applying graphics, music, sound effects, dialogue, and other special effects at appropriate moments will be crucial to enhance the scene value.Color-correcting the video to provide viewers with an improved visual experience and ensuring the edited film follows a logical sequence will be part of your responsibilities. Effective communication with the director, assistant directors, and the production team throughout the project is vital.You will also be required to create and review the final cut before its release, manage and organize video files following proper naming conventions and storage procedures, and deliver high-quality video films within specified deadlines. Adhering to style guidelines and maintaining a consistent brand image as directed by the producer is essential.Staying updated on industry trends, new editing techniques, and popular tools to boost creativity and productivity will be encouraged. This is a full-time position with a day shift schedule and performance bonuses. Proficiency in Hindi and English is preferred for this role, and the work location is in person.,
