Job description

As a skilled professional in the field of quality assurance and testing, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the design, operation, and testability of our products meet the highest standards. Collaborating closely with the QA Architect, you will contribute to the development and enhancement of the testing approach and strategy. Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and automating system test profiles to streamline the testing process. By delivering test automation code and enhancing automation coverage, you will drive improvements in engineering productivity. Additionally, you will work with leads to understand customer solution deployment and integration for system test profiles.To excel in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, along with over 10 years of hands-on experience in quality, development, and automation within the virtualization and networking space. Proficiency in test automation and scripting, particularly in Python or similar languages, is essential. You should also have practical experience with test automation frameworks such as Robot, PyTest, or Python, and a demonstrated track record in testing highly scalable and fault-tolerant systems.A solid understanding of network management concepts and protocols like TCP/IP, L2/L3 protocols, IPv4, IPv6, REST, as well as experience with TCP/IP layer, HTTP/HTTPS protocols, SSL Proxy, and REST services testing, will be beneficial. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, are crucial, along with the ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and collaborate effectively in a team environment. Experience in creating detailed test plans and cases, along with a genuine commitment to delivering high-quality products, are key attributes for success.While not mandatory, experience with network testing equipment such as Spirent, Avalanche, or TREX, as well as knowledge in the security domain and vulnerability assessment, will be advantageous.
