We are currently seeking a Senior IT Engineer/Specialist to join our APAC IT/Security team as the founding member. Reporting to the Head of IT and Security, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining enterprise systems, networks, and technologies. This position requires a strong foundation in IT knowledge, excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills, proficiency in coding/scripting, and the ability to adapt quickly to various challenges. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify and implement solutions that enhance business processes and workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Receive and assess IT support tickets, addressing issues promptly and professionally
2. Assist with account management, including hardware, software, and application permissions
3. Coordinate the delivery and return of IT assets with external partners/vendors
4. Serve as an escalation point for IT helpdesk tickets and provide on-site support when necessary
5. Contribute to higher-level IT and Security initiatives, including evaluations and integrations
6. Maintain updated IT documentation and adhere to best practices for change management and business continuity
7. Collaborate with internal and external IT teams to develop solutions that support business objectives
8. Track project progress and report on IT initiatives as needed
9. Participate in on-call rotations as per global time zone requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in IT solution development disciplines
• 2+ years of experience with agile methods and processes
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to self-organize
• Proficiency in Google Workspace/G-Suite management and troubleshooting techniques
• Experience with modern operating systems and endpoint management in an enterprise environment
• Familiarity with IdP services and business SaaS applications management
• Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple projects concurrently, and adapt to changing environments

Nice to have:

• Experience with software development or security engineering
• Familiarity with Django development framework and ITSM/HRIS integrations
• Knowledge of industry-standard compliance frameworks and VPN/Zero Trust configurations
• Experience with Cloud environments and containerization
• Ability to work with networking devices configurations and troubleshooting
