Job description

    As a Clinical Pathology Laboratory Manager, you will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting results from various departments such as Clinical Pathology, Hematology, and Biochemistry. Your primary duties will include timely verification, approval, and reporting of test results, as well as collecting and analyzing abnormalities for accurate reporting.You will play a crucial role in maintaining quality standards within the laboratory by supervising quality control measures and ensuring operational timelines are met. It will be essential to adhere to NABL guidelines for specimen handling, processing, test analysis, reporting, and maintaining accurate records of patient results.In this role, you will be required to develop and implement departmental quality assurance and quality control programs. Monitoring key quality indicators and key performance indicators of the laboratory will also be a part of your responsibilities, with a focus on continuous improvement and corrective action when necessary.Additionally, you will be responsible for evaluating and assessing operational processes within the laboratory to identify areas for improvement. Your role will involve organizing, managing, and conducting internal and external audits in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance and quality standards are met.Furthermore, you will need to plan and conduct Continuous Medical Education (CME) sessions and prepare the center for NABL audits. Your commitment to ensuring the efficiency and profitability of the Operations Department through continuous improvement initiatives will be critical to the success of the laboratory.Overall, as a Clinical Pathology Laboratory Manager, your role will be pivotal in maintaining high-quality standards, efficiency, and compliance within the laboratory to deliver accurate and timely results for patient care.,
