Tiong Bahru Bakery - Central Kitchen Bread Team Members.

Tiong Bahru Bakery, renowned for its artisanal French breads and pastries, is seeking passionate and skilled Bread Chefs to join our Central Kitchen team. Be part of the core of our operations, where each loaf is crafted with dedication and expertise.

Position: Bread Chef (Central Kitchen)


Location: Singapore, 267 Pandan Loop

  1. Up to $2,500 Completion Bonus (Terms and Conditions Applied)
  2. 05 Days 44 Hours work week

Key Responsibilities:

  • Bread Production: Prepare and bake a variety of breads, including sourdoughs, baguettes, and specialty loaves, adhering to Tiong Bahru Bakery's established recipes and quality standards.
  • Dough Management: Oversee the mixing, fermentation, shaping, and baking processes, ensuring consistency and excellence in every batch.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular assessments to ensure all products meet our visual and taste standards before distribution to outlets.
  • Hygiene & Safety: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, strictly adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with fellow bakers and kitchen staff to optimize production schedules and meet daily targets.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor ingredient stock levels and coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely replenishment.

** Candidates who can work graveyard shifts (2am onwards) will be given priority**

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or certification in Baking, Patisserie, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in bread baking, preferably in a central kitchen or high-volume bakery setting would be advantageous.
  • Proficiency in traditional and modern bread-making techniques, with a strong understanding of fermentation processes.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
