We are seeking an
Engineer/Senior Engineer to join our
Thin Film CVD department. You will support Thin Film Equipment startup, maintenance, and related activities to support daily production and achieve operational targets.
Responsibilities include:- Supporting CVD equipment engineering activities to meet operation targets and company objectives
- Participating in continuous improvement initiatives for cost, yield, productivity, and uptime
- Supporting new equipment startup and relocation to support production plans
- Owning and being accountable for tool uptime, wafer scrap reduction, parts management, and memo reduction
- Troubleshooting and resolving equipment issues to support daily production
- Reviewing and optimizing maintenance procedures
- Managing consumables and spare parts to ensure adequate supply
- Participating in technology transfer from the mother fab
- Implementing TSMC/NXP BKMs and generating SSMC BKMs
- Updating OIs and SOPs to document best practices
- Planning preventive maintenance aligned with manufacturing schedules
- Conducting training and certification for new preventive maintenance staff
- Driving initiatives to reduce monitoring time and improve uptime
- Leading or participating in Transform Platform projects to generate LSS, BKMs, and trade secrets for value creation
- Performing weekend 12-hour shifts, swing shifts, or other shifts as defined by the manager
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering
- 1-3 years’ experience in semiconductor manufacturing environment
- 5 years’ direct experience with CVD equipment for diploma holders
- Knowledge of the AMAT Centura system
- At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role for senior positions
- A strong background in semiconductor manufacturing
