Job summary

GE Vernova in Singapore is seeking a hands-on Thermal Spray/GEL Coating Technician to join our manufacturing team. You will perform thermal spray and GEL coating for gas turbine and aero-derivative engine repairs, following work instructions and ensuring product quality and safety.

The role requires secondary education, NTC or equivalent preferred, and English proficiency; experience is preferred but on-the-job training provided. Rotating shifts are required.

Qualifications

• Completion of Secondary Level or higher education.
• NTC or equivalent preferred.
• 3 years of working experience in the related field is preferred for this position. Candidates without relevant experience will also be considered as on the job training will be provided.
• Basic command of spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Perform thermal spray and/or GEL coating for gas turbine & aero-derivative engine repair.
• Follow Work instructions to perform any tasks assigned which may include blasting, polishing and heat-treatment, etc.
• Ensure product quality, equipment care, meet production output/pace, housekeeping and schedules.
• Adhere to all applicable EHS rules and regulations and reporting immediately any unsafe practices/conditions.
