Job summary

Une entreprise de services en soins de santé recherche un assistant en thérapie pour soutenir le personnel médical. Le poste inclut la supervision des patients, la documentation de leurs progrès et l'entretien de l'équipement. Nous recherchons un candidat ayant au moins un certificat WSQ et de solides compétences en communication.

Qualifications

• Min WSQ Higher Certificate in Healthcare Support ou équivalent.
• Excellentes compétences en communication.
• 1-2 ans d'expérience souhaités.

Responsibilities

• Assister le thérapeute en supervisant l'équipement pour les patients.
• Documenter les réponses des patients au traitement.

Job description

Responsibilities

· Assist the therapist by supervising and setting up equipment for patients during therapy

· Assist the therapist in the treatment implement by recording and keying of daily patient statistics as well as services

· Clean and maintain therapy equipment as well as devices by ensuring that the equipment / aids are kept properly after use

· Liaising between patients, physical therapists, physical therapy assistants, and other departments.

· Observing patients performing prescribed physical exercises

· Documenting patients' responses to treatment and updating patient files

· Carry out any other duties as assigned by management or supervisors

Requirements

· Min WSQ Higher Certificate in Healthcare Support (Therapy Support) / Nitec in Therapy Support / Diploma in Therapy Support / Other equivalent qualifications

· Excellent communication skills

· 1-2 years experience will be advantageous
