A leading healthcare organization is seeking a Therapy Support Assistant to assist therapists in patient care. The role involves supervising therapy sessions, documenting patient progress, and ensuring equipment maintenance. Suitable candidates should possess relevant healthcare qualifications and communication skills, preferably with some experience.

Qualifications

• Min 1-2 years experience is advantageous.
• Other equivalent qualifications accepted.

Job description

Responsibilities

· Assist the therapist by supervising and setting up equipment for patients during therapy

· Assist the therapist in the treatment implement by recording and keying of daily patient statistics as well as services

· Clean and maintain therapy equipment as well as devices by ensuring that the equipment / aids are kept properly after use

· Liaising between patients, physical therapists, physical therapy assistants, and other departments.

· Observing patients performing prescribed physical exercises

· Documenting patients' responses to treatment and updating patient files

· Carry out any other duties as assigned by management or supervisors

Requirements

· Min WSQ Higher Certificate in Healthcare Support (Therapy Support) / Nitec in Therapy Support / Diploma in Therapy Support / Other equivalent qualifications

· Excellent communication skills

· 1-2 years experience will be advantageous
