Job description

Our client is a leading provider of experience-based play facilities in Singapore who provides unique interactive play experiences to children. Due to expansion, they are looking for a Theme Park Manager to join their team.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee and manage the Profit & Loss (P&L), ensuring financial targets are met.
  2. Develop and manage operations schedules to optimize cost efficiency while maintaining high service standards.
  3. Train and supervise the attractions crew to consistently meet established service levels.
  4. Ensure Park facilities adhere to the highest safety, sanitization, and cleanliness standards.
  5. Conduct regular inspections and maintenance to uphold these standards.
  6. Continuously review and improve the park's user experience through enhanced service standards, programs, and offerings.
  7. Handle customer service issues promptly and efficiently on-site, via phone, or through digital communication channels.
  8. Plan and oversee the smooth execution of park programs, working closely with the attractions team to ensure successful delivery.
  9. Manage daily cash sales and ensure accurate and timely reporting.
  10. Prepare detailed monthly reports and participate in regular business and operational meetings.
  11. Implement, monitor, and enforce park policies and procedures to ensure operational efficiency and compliance.
  12. Identify and address operational issues to improve overall park performance.
  13. Conduct regular First Aid training for the operations team.
  14. Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to promote park offerings.
  15. Support cross-functional initiatives to enhance park performance and customer satisfaction.
  16. Mentor and develop team members through regular performance reviews, goal setting, and career development initiatives.
  17. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, creativity, and continuous improvement.

Job Requirements:

  1. A minimum of 5 years experience in leading a team, preferably within the attractions or hospitality industry.
  2. Demonstrated experience in operations planning, deployment, and people management.
  3. Experience managing mascots and stage performances is a strong advantage.
  4. Proficiency in handling multiple and complex projects simultaneously, with the ability to work collaboratively across different business units.
  5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate a diverse team.
  6. Customer-oriented with a proven ability to resolve issues effectively and efficiently.
  7. Dynamic, self-starter with the flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  8. A proactive and solutions-driven mindset with the ability to manage unforeseen challenges.
  9. Willingness to work on weekends, holidays, and irregular hours as required by the nature of the business.
