At The Butcher’s Wife , we’re not your average neighbourhood bistro. We cook with guts, soul, and zero gluten—turning seasonal produce into punchy, unforgettable dishes. If you’re excited by fermentation, flavour, and fearless creativity, we want you in our kitchen.


Working Hours:

  • 5-day work week
  • Split shifts between 9:00AM–3:00PM & 5:00PM–10:30PM
  • 44 hours per week

What You’ll Do:

  • Support the Head Chef in day-to-day operations and service execution
  • Lead mise en place, prep, and plating with confidence and consistency
  • Take charge of inventory, ordering, and supplier coordination
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and hygiene
  • Guide and mentor junior chefs with heart
  • Collaborate on seasonal menu innovation and R&D

What You Bring:

  • Minimum 3 years of kitchen experience, with past leadership roles
  • A love for modern European or contemporary bistro cuisine
  • Bonus: experience with gluten-free, fermentation, or conscious cooking
