The role involves setting up gas chromatography equipment and ensuring proper testing procedures in a lab environment. Candidates should have a minimum qualification of 'O' level, ITE, or a Diploma in relevant engineering fields, alongside good safety awareness and basic computer skills.

Job description

Our Client a European MNC and industry leader in manufacturing of scientific instruments for the process industries would like to invite suitably qualified candidates to join their Team as GC Testing Technician.

GC TESTING TECHNICIAN (6-mth Contract / renewable)

Job Responsibilities

· Setup Gas Chromatography(GC) to test station.

· Blend sample gases for Runout test

· Trouble shooting while GC setup (if required)

· Complete GC final checklist and push GC to repacking area

· Operate GC using Workstation Software (GCP)

Knowledge and Experience required :

· Minimum "O" level, ITE or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering

· Good safety awareness for working in laboratory or petrochemical plant

· Communication skills with the ability to communicate with team members and supervisor

· Basic computer skills for operating Windows System and Office 365 (Word and Excel)

Working Location : Woodlands Spectrum II

Working Hours : 9am – 6pm
