Job summary

RECRUITPEDIA PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a Testing Technician to perform functional, mechanical, electrical and system testing of precision automation equipment.

You will set up and run tests, document results and support root cause investigations. The role requires a Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or Mechanical Engineering, testing experience, ability to lift up to 22 kg with assistance, and compliance with cleanroom PPE.

Qualifications

• Testing experience is required.
• Able to lift up to 22kg with machine assistance provided.
• Must work in a cleanroom environment and comply with PPE requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and good troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform functional, mechanical, electrical and system testing according to established procedures and specifications.
• Set up, operate and maintain testing equipment and tools.
• Conduct testing on precision equipment and components to ensure quality and performance requirements are met.
• Record and document test results accurately, highlighting any abnormalities or issues.
• Troubleshoot testing and product-related issues and support root cause investigations.
• Work closely with Engineering and Quality teams to resolve technical issues and improve testing processes.
• Support testing activities for new products, prototypes and engineering projects.
• Ensure testing activities are carried out in accordance with safety and quality requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Our client is an established automation machinery manufacturer specialising in precision motion and automation solutions for industries including semiconductors, electronics, robotics, biomedical and advanced manufacturing.
Working Days: Monday – Friday
Working Hours: 8:30am – 6:00pm
Location: Serangoon

Job Responsibilities

Requirements

• Minimum Nitec / Higher Nitec / Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Testing experience is required.
• Comfortable with occasional lifting/carrying of components weighing up to 22kg, with machine assistance provided where required.
• Able to work in a cleanroom environment and comply with PPE requirements where applicable.
• Strong attention to detail and good troubleshooting skills.
